Tasting Note: A primitivo-led Italian red blend that delivers on ripe fruit flavor and that pairs wonderfully with grilled meats.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, red cherry, red currant, raspberry preserves, black plum and blossom with a hint of vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin ultimately completing with a long finish.

There is robustness and complexity in the midpalate.

This classic Italian-style blend contains 50% Primitivo, 30% Teroldego and 20% Negroamaro. Rich and velvety in aromas of currants and truffles. Excellent with stuffed portobello mushrooms, lamb shanks, and rich meat dishes, or just as a slow sipper on its own. Only 8 barrels made.
