Taittinger Nocturne Sec NV Champagne – Residual Sweetness Carries the Taste

Taittinger, Nocturne Sec NV, Champagne, France, Wine Casual

Taittinger, Nocturne Sec NV, Champagne, France

Tasting Note: A golden-colored champagne with a nose of yeasty white grape and chalky biscuit along with vanilla that isn’t overwhelming but rather complimentary.

On the palate the wine rolls from the front to the back of your tongue in a circle.

There is a bit of pear flavor on the palate but the residual sugar is the flavor characteristic that stands out most.

This champagne has a residual sweetness that carries the taste and is perfect for the end of a meal, even as I personally prefer my champagnes drier.
