Tasting Note: A young semillon with aging potential.

Pale-intensity gold in color, this wine has a nose of almond and orange puree.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied semillon has a round texture with understated flavors suggested on the nose.

This is the way young semillon presents when young, with its current slightly-neutral character evolving with age.

Bottle Note: The Steven Kent Winery’s semillon harkens back to the early history of the Livermore Valley, one of the few world-class growing areas, by showing how remarkable a grape can be when grown in the exact right place. This wine is replete with the classic aromas of citrus and fig, displays wonderful mid-palate viscosity and finishes with great acidity. A natural blending partner to sauvignon blanc, this wine will accompany many of the same cuisines. Fewer than 125 cases were made of this vintage.
