Toccata, Classico 2015, Santa Barbara County, California
Tasting Note: A Tuscany-inspired, California red blend that is filled with lots of ripe, bright red fruit and its own unique identity.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of red cherry, raspberry puree, kirsch, red plum and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied red blend is filled with ripe, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity.
The wine has a smooth texture and ripe, medium tannin.
There is some complexity in the midpalate and floral notes on the finish.
Gets Italy-inspired red blend right.
