Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards, The Mira Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Stellenbosch, South Africa
Tasting Note: A cabernet sauvignon with well-integrated flavor profile that benefits from 60% new French oak.
Deep-intensity ruby in color this wine has a nose of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry and some clove baking spice.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied wine expresses ripe, yet reserved black fruit suggested on the nose along with ripe, soft, medium-plus tannin.
The wine has mid-palate complexity and is generous with its fruit profile that shows flavor concentration.
Bottle Note: Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards, set amongst the clouds, nestled against the Helederberg, as high as 620 meters above sea level. With unparalleled views of False Bay, Table Bay and Table Mountain, bordering the Helderberg Nature Reserve. The unique influence of both marine and mountain climates gives our wine its distinctive character and exceptional quality. The Mira Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Estate Wine – A single varietal wine that reflects a true sense of place and a cosmic connectedness to the Mira binary star.
