Villa Conchi, Brut Rosé Cava, Catalonia, Spain
Tasting Note: All rosé cavas are made using the saignée method which tends to produce rosés with more body and texture.
Medium-intensity salmon in color, this sparkling wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, strawberry, orange citrus, brioche and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied, trepat rosé cava, delivers citrusy, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and some notes of tart red currant on the medium finish.
The sparkling wine is straightforward and good in quality because of its varietal typicity and balance between fruit and acidity.
Bottle Note: The exceptional trepat grape variety gives this brut rosé a great aromatic intensity and exceptional freshness. Traditional Methode.
