Tasting Note: A lively pinot or “spatburgunder” as the grape variety is known in Germany.

Medium-intensity ruby in color this wine has a nose of fresh red and black cherry, and raspberry and red plum with a touch of cedar and vanilla baking spice.
On the palate the dry, medium bodied pinot noir shows tart yet restrained red cherry fruit that has some depth about it, especially on the finish.
There is also some mid-palate complexity after the red fruit on the attack that elongates the experience of the wine.
