Weingut Ökonomierat Rebholz, Pinot Blanc Dry 2016, Pfalz, Germany
Tasting Note: An easygoing pinot blanc with refreshing, green-fruit and floral elements ideal for an aperitif or to pair with light fare.
Pale-intensity lemon-green in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of bosc pear, grapefruit, quince, lemon citrus and jasmine blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot blanc has medium-intensity, green-fruit flavors along with some chalky hints supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a medium finish.
The wine has a steely texture and is mostly straightforward.
The kind of pinot blanc you want to open on a sunny day on the porch to enjoy for its low-alcohol-and-refreshment factor.
Bottle Note: Produced from 100% organic pinot blanc grapes.
