Tasting Note: A bright, sparkling apple cider from Vermont apples that would work well as an aperitif.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this cider has an aromatic nose of green apple, pear, blossom and bread dough.

On the palate the bone dry, medium-bodied cider delivers green fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity.

The cider is creamy in body with small, persistent bubbles.

Bottle Note: This cider is a labor of love, a song of the place that we call home. We press local apples on a vintage Mt. Gilead press and produce small batches in our home ciderie. We use the vey best heirloom apples, coveted for the character they impart, with delicious names like Yarlington Mill, Kingston Black and Hudson’s Golden Gem. The results are complex, dry ciders that make your meal sparkle. Methode Champenoise. Made the old-fashioned way, using techniques made famous by the monks of Champagne. Delicate bubbles, taut acidity, and a touch of sweetness highlight subtle fruit and minerality. Cheers!
