Zeta, Brut Cava, Catalonia, Spain
Tasting Note: A bright, vibrant cava with racy acidity and notes of caramel running through it.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of fresh green apple, caramel, brioche, quince, green pear and some of cava’s characteristic rubber aromas.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied cava delivers tart, green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose along with blossom.
The wine is medium-plus in acidity and flavor intensity.
A classically-made cava from Spain.
Bottle Note: Z is pronounced zeta in Spanish. A distinct word for this last letter of the alphabet and also a distinct and appealing range of Spanish wines for wine enthusiasts looking for the last word in easy drinking wines. 40% Parellada, 30% Xarel-lo, 25% Macabeu, 5% Chardonnay.
