Tasting Note: A merlot that showcases the tart side of the grape.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a nose of black plum, red cherry, kirsch and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied cabernet sauvignon delivers concentrated black fruit with ripe, medium tannin.

The wine is smooth in texture with tart, black fruit flavors showing along the entire length of the taste ultimately completing with a medium finish.

Bottle Note: Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards, set amongst the clouds, nestled against the Helederberg, as high as 620 meters above sea level. With unparalleled views of False Bay, Table Bay and Table Mountain, bordering the Helderberg Nature Reserve. The unique influence of both marine and mountain climates gives our wine its distinctive character and exceptional quality. The Mira Merlot 2015 Estate Wine – A single varietal wine that reflects a true sense of place and a cosmic connectedness to the Mira binary star. Uva Mira translates as “The Wonderful Grape.”
