Anne de K, Crémant d’Alsace Blanc de Blancs Brut, Alsace, France
Tasting Note: Sparkling wines from Alsace are a true value and the French know it.
In fact, one third of all crémant-styled sparkling wines consumed in France come from this wine region which borders Germany and falls in the shadow of the Vosges Mountains.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity, aromatic nose of green apple, pear, blossom, brioche, bread dough and lemon-citrus peel.
The dry, medium-bodied Cremant d’Alsace delivers tart, medium-plus intensity, green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by high acidity, ultimately completing with a medium-plus finish.
The wine is very good in quality because of the flavor concentration and balance between fruit and acidity.
Bottle Note: 100% handpicked grapes. By Bestheim.
