Martini & Rossi Asti DOCG – Presents the Lighter Side of the Muscat Grape

Martini & Rossi, Asti DOCG, Piedmont, Italy, Wine Casusal

Martini & Rossi, Asti DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Tasting Note: Sweet sparkling wines have their place, and this one from a major Asti DOCG producer presents the lighter side of the muscat grape in a desirable form.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of rose petal, pear, blossom and candied green apple.

On the palate the sweet, medium-bodied Asti presents additional ripe fruit flavors of peach, apricot and melon.

The wine is medium in acidity, pronounced in flavor intensity and long in finish.

A well-made sparkling wine that would probably please your aunt or grandma.

Bottle Note: Martini & Rossi is the leading Italian sparkling wine producer. We harvest and store the fresh grape juice of Moscato Bianco Grapes, harvested in the Asti DOCG area. We arrest fermentation to keep the natural sweetness of the ripe musts that give Martini Asti its taste and aroma of grape juice, vine peached, elderberry and sage. Its flavor is refreshing, sweet and fruity. Serve chilled to 7°. Store in a cool dry place.
