Arthur Metz, Cremant d’Alsace Rosé Brut Millésimé 2014, Alsace, France
Tasting Note: A vintage rosé sparkler from Alsace that proves the region’s minor pinot noir plantings are a smart choice for your wallet and glass especially compared to what you’d get in similar quality from Champagne.
Salmon in color this wine has a nose of strawberry and red cherry.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied, rosé sparkler displays fruit flavors suggested on the nose along with some orange citrus that ultimately completes with tart red cherry.
An Alsatian sparkler to enjoy and repeat.
Bottle Note: The rosé crémant d’Alsace by Arthur Metz is salmon pink in color with a delicate fizz. Cherry and strawberry aromas turn lively and sweet in the mouth, giving a delightful, crowd-pleasing wine. It elegantly accompanies fine cuisine as well as special occasions and every party.
