Bodega Norton, Reserva Malbec 2017, Mendoza, Argentina
Tasting Note: Reserve malbec produced in the traditional Argentine style with attractive concentration.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, raspberry, blueberry and violet.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied malbec had medium-plus flavor intensity supported by ripe, medium-plus tannin ultimately completing with a medium-plus finish.
Bottle Note: Bodega Norton was founded in 1895 at the Mendoza River Valley. The estate winery is located at the foothills of the Andes at altitudes ranging between 850 to 1,100 m above sea level. “Reserva” is made from carefully selected grapes from our oldest vineyards. The wine is aged 12 months in French oak barrels and then additionally in bottles before release. Our people’s passion, together with the harmonious co-existence of fruit and oak over time, have made this a great wine characterized by its elegance and complexity.
