Carmim Reguengos, Garrafeira Dos Sócios Vinho Tinto 2014, Alentejo, Portugal
Tasting Note: A red-and-black-fruit-rich red blend with flavor concentration and a pleasing mouthfeel.
Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of raspberry, rhubarb, blackberry, dried cherry, hibiscus and violet.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium-plus tannin ultimately completing with a berry-filled, medium-plus finish.
The wine is concentrated and slightly velvety in texture giving it added body and length.
Impress a cabernet sauvignon drinker in your life with this red-blend alternative.
65% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Touriga Nacional, and 15% Tinta Caiada.
Bottle Note: This superior quality wine is carefully vinified and continuously monitored during its evolution in French and American oak barrels. When it reached the ideal maturation time, is bottled and stays for aging in bottle for at least one year. Winemaker: Rui Veldas / Tiago Garcia.
