Caruso & Minini Nero D’Avola 2018 – Good Without Being the Focus of Your Meal

Caruso & Minini, Nero D’Avola 2018, Sicily, Italy, Wine Casual

Caruso & Minini, Nero D’Avola 2018, Sicily, Italy

Tasting Note: A Nero D’Avola that pairs well with Italian food without itself being the focus of the meal (like a backup singer to your star entrée).

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of raspberry puree, blackberry, black plum, hibiscus, black currant and dried cranberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-minus-bodied wine has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium tannin.

More complex aromas on the nose than the palate but good in its dimension.

Bottle Note: Respect for nature and environment: that’s how our Nero d’Vola DOC made with organic grapes was born. With a deep red color, it is full bodied, rich of tannins and pairs excellently with meat dishes and sauces. Naturalmente.
