Cedar Rose Vineyards Blaufränkisch 2016 – Cheerful with a Midpalate that Will Remind of the Winter Holidays

Tasting Note: A cheerful blaufränkisch with a midpalate that will remind of you of the winter holidays.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blueberry, black plum, kirsch and black cherry.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied blaufränkisch has medium-plus flavor intensity and well-integrated, medium tannin.

Bottle Note: Each fall we grow restless as harvest approaches. What will nature bring us this year? Our unpredictable weather makes each growing season unique, demanding creativity in tough vintages. But in the best years, harmonic conditions elevate grape quality to its zenith. When made with focus on a varietal character and terroir expression, the resulting wine tells the story of its vintage. Treasure these wines. The story is lost as the last bottle is opened. We hope you enjoy our handcrafted wine. Cheers! Dustin, Steve, Robert.
