Tasting Note: Albariño on the lighter, fun side of the white-wine spectrum.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of pineapple, green apple, pear, honey dew melon and white blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied albariño had medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and some chalk on the medium-plus finish.

Would pair especially well with seafood.

Bottle Note: True to the grape varietal, this albariño is a refreshing dry wine with notes of citrus and exotic tropical fruit, a pleasant characteristic nose, and a delectable finish. White Horse wines are inspired by the Vinton family’s five-decade long love affair with wine. Focusing first on French Bordeaux style and later on California wines, we bring a unique combination of old and new world techniques to our winemaking. The label art was created by renowned Brandywine School artist Jamie Wyeth to capture the bold, independent spirit of White Horse Winery. Pairing suggestions: seafood, poultry, salads, happy hour.
