Chateau L’Argenteyre, Cru Bourgeois 2015, Medoc, France
Tasting Note: A good, midweek Bordeaux worthy of its Cru Bourgeois status.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a nose of raspberry, dried blackberry, red cherry and violet blossom with hints of sage.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Bordeaux delivers medium-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and smooth, medium tannin.
There is balance and a mostly-straightforward flavor profile.
