Tasting Note: A black-fruit-led Nero D’Avola to pair with a midweek meal.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black cherry, blackberry, red currant and rhubarb with hints of blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Nero D’Avola has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.

A good uncomplicated wine.
