Coelheiros Tinto 2017 – A Red Blend Cabernet-Sauvignon Lovers Will Adore

Coelheiros Tinto 2017, Alentejo, Portugal, Wine Casual

Coelheiros, Tinto 2017, Alentejo, Portugal

Tasting Note: A concentrated, Alentejo red blend from Portugal brimming with black fruit; the kind of blend cabernet-sauvignon lovers will adore.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of raspberry, black plum, blackberry, red currant, black cherry and rhubarb.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium-plus tannin.

There is complexity in the midpalate along with traces of red fruit.

A hearty red blend that could tackle a steak and many grilled meats including chicken.

Bottle Note: Made from Aragonez (50%) and Alicante Bouschet (50%). Fermented with indigenous yeast to best express our vineyards and soils. Aged for one year in used barrels.
