David Bynum, River West Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California
Tasting Note: This wine has a perfumed nose of bruised red-and-black cherry, black plum, dried cranberry and hibiscus with subtle, well-integrated vanilla baking spice.
Black fruit flavors lead on the attack with an undercurrent of rosehip.
This is a sturdy and substantial pinot noir with lots of body and velvety, rounded tannins that are in balance along with the faintest suggestion of ground expresso beans.
Pair with steak, quesadillas and kebabs.
