Domaine Bousquet, Reserve Chardonnay 2019, Tupungato, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina

Tasting Note: A lightly-oaked, reserve chardonnay filled with tropical fruit and citrus.

Pale-to-medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of pineapple, tangerine, lime zest, golden apple, honeydew melon and blossom.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied chardonnay has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with notes of baking spice and clove.

The fruit and oak play well together in your glass.

Good value for the price point, especially for organic grapes.

Bottle Note: Domaine Bousquet combines the know-how of French winemaking with Argentina’s exceptional climate and terroir. The vineyard is located at the foothills on the Andes at 1200 m.a.s.l. Its thermal amplitude contributes to obtaining fully ripened grapes with an excellent acidity. The grapes are hand-picked and the vineyard is certified organic. Bright yellow color with tropical aromas, citrus and lime notes. It has a very balanced and structured palate with a long and persistent finish. This wine goes well with seafood, cheese and pasta dishes with cream sauces.
