Domaine Jean-Marc Bernhard, Pinot Blanc 2014, Alsace, France
Tasting Note: An Alsacian pinot blanc with personality, body and beautiful, sun-kissed fruit.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of quince, bruised green-pear slice, orange-and-lemon zest with hints of pineapple.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot blanc is filled with just-ripened fruit flavors suggested on the nose with a tart, lemon-citrus streak running throughout the length of the taste completing with a medium-plus finish.
The wine is medium-plus in acidity and has midpalate complexity and medium-plus flavor concentration.
