Don Beningo, Cream Sherry, Andalucia, Spain

Tasting Note: A good, uncomplicated house Sherry that is straightforward and does its job.

Medium-intensity brown in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus intensity nose of caramel, prune, raisin, golden apple, brioche and toasted walnut.

On the palate the sweet, full-bodied cream Sherry is medium in acidity and medium in alcohol with medium-plus-flavor intensity that ultimately completes with a medium-plus finish.

Aromas on the nose continue to the palate as flavors along with toffee and almond flavors.

The Sherry is good in quality but lacks complexity and concentration to be very good.

Bottle Note: This cream sherry has a golden-brown color and is very smooth. It is perfect to drink alone, in a place of a cocktail, or after a meal with dessert and coffee. It is delicious at room temperature, slightly chilled, or on the rocks. Produced and bottled by Pedro Rodriguez e Hijos, shippers of fine sherries in Sanlucar de Barrameda, Spain since 1821.
