Gilbert, Gewürztraminer 2017, Borrodell Vineyard, Orange, Australia
Tasting Note: Taken all together, this skin-fermented gewürztraminer delivers aromatics in a restrained, yet floral style that is gentle in bouquet.
Medium-intensity lemon-to-orange in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of lychee, white nectarine, pineapple, fresh-pink-rose petal, orange-citrus peel, green apple and pear.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied gewürztraminer has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose with a round midpalate and a slightly oily texture.
There is midpalate balance supported by medium acidity.
Bottle Note: Rose water Turkish delight. Textured crisp. 10 days on skins.
