Herdade Dos Grous, Moon Harvested 2016, Vinho Regional Alentejano, Portugal

Tasting Note: A silky-textured Alicante Bouschet harvested in moonlight that will soothe and delight your palate.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a medium-plus intensity, aromatic nose of black plum, violet, purple rose petal, black cherry, bramble and dried strawberry slice.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Alicante Bouschet presents silky-textured, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity, and a smooth, ripe, medium tannin.

The wine expresses varietal typicity in an enjoyable and reserved-fruit style.

Bottle Note: The influence of the moon over the tides and nature is well known. This Alicante Bouschet was harvested in accordance with this age-old principle. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Dense, dark and brooding, this is a powerful wine. Alicante Bouschet 100%.
