Tasting Note: Sangiovese to pair with midweek Italian dishes.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus intensity nose of ripe red cherry, kirsch, red currant and strawberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sangiovese has medium-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin ultimately completing with a medium finish.

The wine is straightforward and delivers sangiovese’s basic, characteristic red-fruit character.
