On the palate the medium-plus bodied riesling is high acidity and refreshes your palate.

You feel the acidity on the attack which rolls down the center of your tongue and fades towards the edges and at the back of your mouth.

There is a slight chalkiness on the finish as well. This riesling stands out in its creation of a harmonious sugar and acidity balance to showcase the fruit’s potential.

Also, an indigenous-yeast fermented wine, this riesling has added complexity not found in many rieslings. An excellent riesling not only for the Finger Lakes, but any where.

Bottle Note: Kemmeter Wines is collaborating with Sheldrake Point Vineyard (Cayuga Lake), Red Tail Ridge Estate Vineyard (Seneca Lake) and White Pine Vineyard (Ontario Lake) in an exciting venture to explore the joys and challenges of growing riesling at three different lakes in Upstate New York. The grapes which made their way into this bottle of wine were grown at Sheldrake Point Vineyard. Look out for the two other wines from this project and enjoy with us one of the most versatile white grape varieties in the world – Riesling! -Johannes Reinhardt
