Tasting Note: A Bourgueil for cabernet franc lovers who appreciate their wine in an earthy style.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of forest floor, red plum, raspberry, dried mushroom, damp earth, hay and black olive.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Bourgueil has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, medium tannin.

The wine has some complexity in the midpalate and is balanced between the fruit and the acidity.

Good cabernet franc.
