Laurel Ridge, Pinot Gris 2020, Finn Hill Vineyard, Yamhill-Carlton, Oregon, Wine Casual

Laurel Ridge, Pinot Gris 2020, Finn Hill Vineyard, Yamhill-Carlton, Oregon

Tasting Note: A pinot gris with some minerality in the midpalate buttressed by just-ripened, green orchard fruit.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, pear and lemon citrus.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot gris has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a medium finish.

The wine is steely in texture and refreshing.

Bottle Note: With every vintage we find new and intriguing characteristics in our estate pinot gris. The steely, stoic quality of this vintage capture the essence of the challenges endured on our vineyard during the 2020 growing season. The fresh, crisp quality of this gris makes it refreshing and enjoyable as a glass of wine. It can also be easily paired with a delicious meal – whitefish, shellfish and chicken are a few of our favorite mealtime pairings. At Laurel Ridge, we’ve been crafting fine wines for three decades. Our family-owned Willamette Valley winery sites on 240 acres of some of the best wine-growing soil in the world.
