Les Vignes de Bila-Haut, Cotes Du Roussillon Villages 2012, Appellation Cotes Du Roussillon Villages Controlee, France
Tasting Note: A soft, subtle-on-the palate French red from the Roussillon region.
This is lighter-styled red that has medium acidity with hints of cassis. Perfect for a summer red drinker’s taste when she is looking for something a little lighter during the hotter weather. This wine could even benefit from being served slightly chilled.
Bottle Note: The complexity of Bila-Haut reflects the diverse terroirs and wind of the Midi. By meticulously hand-harvesting the best grapes from the best vineyards of the Roussillon, a well-known Rhone Producer has transformed his magic to the Languedoc and created a wine with finesse. This wine if fleshy, well-structured with aromas of black cherry and the warm and savage soils of the Roussillon area. By Michel Chapoutier
