Tasting Note: Taste purple with this elegant, Cote du Roussillon blend that reveals ripe black fruit.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum, black currant, blackberry, bramble, violet and raspberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied red blend is smooth in texture with ripe, black fruit suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, ripe, medium-plus tannin.

The wine has midpalate concentration and medium-plus flavor intensity that completes with a medium-plus finish.

A great value in general from a dependable producer who always produces delicious blends.

Bottle Note: The complexity of Bila-Haut reflects the diverse terroirs and wind of the Midi. By meticulously hand-harvesting the best grapes from the best vineyards of the Roussillon, a well-known Rhone producer has transformed his magic to the Languedoc and created a wine with finesse. The wine is fleshy, well-structured with aromatics of black cherry and the warm savage of soils of the Roussillon area.
