Lioco, Estero Chardonnay 2015, Russian River Valley, California

Tasting Note: A chardonnay that presents restrained green fruit in an attractive, old-world style.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of green apple, pear and nectarine with a hint of vanilla.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied chardonnay has medium-intensity, green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity.

The wine is creamy in texture with some tart notes of midpalate complexity.

Bottle Note: A selection of premier Russian River Valley Vineyards compose this wine including Butch Cameron, Teac Mor, & Goldbridge. All sites situated 8-10 miles from the coast in gravely loam & sandstone soils known as Goldbridge. Clonal material based on Old Wente & Clone 4. This growing region distinguished by its proximity to the cold Pacific Ocean & its complex relationship to the Russian River. Aroma: Saffron, honeycomb, Eureka lemon.
