Tasting Note: A silky red blend from Portugal that doesn’t bang you over the head with fruit, but rather delights from its midpalate subtlety.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of raspberry, prune and blackberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied red blend has medium-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, medium-plus tannin.

There are hints of raisin in the midpalate along with some undercurrent, red-cherry notes.
