Tasting Note: A refreshing riesling that balances sweetness and acidity in a decidedly acid-forward style.

Pale lemon-green in color, this riesling has a nose of tart green apple and bosc pear with a dash of vanilla spice.

This wine unwraps forward to mid palate where it shows depth and complexity.

On the attack there is tight, high acidity quickly followed by lemon citrus that eventually culminates with a tart finish.

A riesling that craves food pairing and that would serve as a well-abled palate cleanser or recharger between courses.

Bottle Note: This single-vineyard reserve riseling was handcrafted from out 35 year old Skillet Road vineyard. This growing site consistently bears fruit that has flavors of lemon, lime and a complex minerality. Additional complexity comes from short term oak aging in four and five year old American barrels. This wine will open your eyes to a different style of riesling.
