Tasting Note: A relatively straightforward, fruit-forward, easy-drinking Chilean red blend.

Ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of red currant, red plum, blueberry, black cherry and tobacco with distinctly Chilean aromas (something you pick up on with time similar to how you might “know” a wine is French).

On the palate, the dry, red blend is medium-in body and tannin with red fruit flavors suggested on the nose continuing to the palate along with hints of smokiness.

Bottle Note: Grape – Merlot 60%, malbec 40%. Aging – 6 months in oak barrels. Store – 4-5 years. Vineyard – Santa Ana, 200 mt, Colchagua Valley, Vines Age – 20 years. Tasting Notes – Aromas of ripe black fruit and cherries with hints of vanilla spice from the oak ageing. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied with notes of bing cherry, blackberry and strawberry jam accompanied by soft tannins and delicate spice. Produced by Errazuriz Ovalle Vineyards.
