Marie-Courtin, Résonance Extra Brut Champagne, France
Tasting Note: A bright, extra brut Champagne that enhances fruit rather than a yeasty character.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of green apple, quince, and lemon citrus.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Champagne has bright, tart-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity completing with a medium-plus finish.
There is some midpalate complexity with a somewhat-steely mouthfeel.
Would pair well with seafood especially where you might otherwise consider muscadet.
