Masía De La Luz Brut Cava – A Solid Cava with More Midpalate Complexity than Most

Masía De La Luz, Brut Cava, Catalonia, Spain, Wine Casual

Masía De La Luz, Brut Cava, Catalonia, Spain

Tasting Note: A solid cava with more midpalate complexity than most.

Medium-intensity lemon in color with small-to-medium-sized, persistent bubbles, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, caramel, brioche, blossom and green pear.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied wine has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a medium finish.

The wine has some notes of midpalate complexity, but is mostly straightforward yet is good in its dimension.

Bottle Note: The vineyards of Masía De La Luz are located in the heart of Penedès, the home of premium cava, not far from Barcelona. Lively and intense, this cava has beautiful notes of green apple and honey as well as refreshing acidity. Perfect as an aperitif and with any seafood-inspired recipe. Serve at a temperature of 44°- 49°F.
