McCay Cellars, Petite Sirah 2012, Lodi, California, Wine Casual

McCay Cellars, Petite Sirah 2012, Lodi, California

Tasting Note: Ruby in color this petite sirah has a nose of oblong, musty, black fruit.

The nose presents more as a mix fruits rather than a singular fruit along with notes of red cherry and chocolate.

On the palate the wine is medium bodied with a light, soft feel.

Supple, medium tannin propels this petite sirah forward.

Bottle Note: Sultry and complex with notes of red plums, dark berries and a nuance of vanilla from the oak regimen are present in this petite sirah. The wine starts a journey of complex layer berrylisciousness that moves down the road at a leisurely pace. Enjoy.
