Tasting Note: You might be tempted to pour this zinfandel on top of vanilla ice cream as a fruit topping.

Purple-to-ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of jammy black plum, raspberry pie and red cherry.

There are also subtle vanilla and clove baking spice aromas.

On the palate the wine is medium plus in acidity with some notes of raisny, mid-palate complexity that ultimately completes with a medium finish.

A very likeable zinfandel that feels lighter on the palate than many others from the Lodi region.

Bottle Note: Fruit forward with blackberry, raspberry with hints of coco, Trulux is balanced through the palate and is a true representation of the westside of Lodi’s AVA. Showing spice and earthiness this wine is round through the palate and full of fruit. Many layers give this zinfandel complexity with just the right amount of tannins. Enjoy.
