Tasting Note: A hot climate petite sirah that shows delicacy while balancing fruit character with the influence of tertiary aging.

Purple in color, this petite sirah has a smoky nose filled with black fruit including black cherry, blackberry and raspberry.

There is a somewhat angular baking spice quality about this wine vanilla and young cedar.

On the palate the dry red is medium-plus bodied with some white pepper notes on the fore palate.

The wine is smooth with well-integrated, medium-plus tannin and was aged for 17 months in French oak.

Bottle Note: Powerful Titan, arms reach for sky. Earthbound devourer, open your eyes! Throw off your blankets, the day has begun. Indulge yourself in warm Lodi sun. Take what is given, the world is your own. Enjoy your dominion, you sit on the throne. Stand and be noticed, grape without peer. Instruct in the others what they should fear. Raise up your standard, proclaim your rights. Answer to no one, conquer with might. Hail the victor, the king without flaw. Salute your new master . . . petite sirah.
