Tasting Note: A hot climate cabernet sauvignon that shows balance at 15% alcohol.

This cabernet sauvignon is purple-to-ruby in color with a nose of blackberry, red cherry and some black plum and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the wine is full bodied with jammy, but not overwhelming, black fruit.

There are only slight hints of mid-palate complexity but tertiary barrel aging does reveal some medium-plus, well-integrated tannin.

This cabernet was aged for 15 months in French oak.

Bottle Note: Lay down your arms, surrender to fate. Obey your new leader, before it’s too late. Danger is thwarted, no longer unforeseen. Ignoring the facts would be most obscene. Cabernet’s rising, determined to grow. Armored in structure, none can oppose. Bold as a bandit, brave as a knight. Ready to rumble like a cock to a fight. Onery with age, demanding respect. Carving a niche through Bordeaux neglect. Kingdoms beware! Cabernet’s wrath. Sweeping aside . . . all in its path.
