Tasting Note: A Texas carignan that abounds with vibrant red fruit and lovely florality.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of strawberry jam, cranberry, dried cherry, red currant and red plum.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied carignan has bright, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin ultimately completing with a floral, medium-plus finish.

The midpalate is bright and refreshes your tastebuds making you want to take another sip and then another.

Well made.

Bottle Note: The McPherson family has been crafting Texas wines with pride for fifty years and counting. Each bottle honors the legacy of Dr. Clinton “Doc” McPherson, an industry pioneer. 225 Cases produced.
