Murrieta’s Well Estate Vineyard, Dry Rosé 2018, Livermore Valley, California
Tasting Note: Just because summer is over doesn’t mean rosé season is too as this wine pairs especially well with the cooler months of the year because of its rich body.
Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of strawberry, honeysuckle, red cherry, red-apple blossom and orange-citrus peel.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied wine has a creamy texture with medium-intensity red-and-citrus fruits suggested on the nose.
The wine is medium in acidity with a bright, red-fruit character running along the entire length of the taste.
A rosé with body and finesse.
Bottle Note: Artfully crafted small lot wines that showcase the best of our estate. 42% Counoise, 33% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre. Cases produced: 2,500.
