Neethlingshof Estate, Chenin Blanc 2016, Stellenbosch, South Africa

Tasting Note: A dry, South African chenin blanc with weight and texture.

Medium-plus intensity lemon in color this wine has an aromatic nose of green apple, pear, blossom, lemon-lime citrus and honeysuckle.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied Chenin Blanc has a creamy texture with just-ripened-green fruit flavors buttressed by high acidity leaving your mouth both refreshed and craving the next sip.

The wine has a medium-plus, citrus-infused finish with mid-palate complexity and balance between fruit and acidity.

Bottle Note: At Neethlingshof terroir, technology and tradition meet up to create fine wines with an authentic sense of place. This chenin blanc emphasizes our commitment not only to producing fine wines, but also to innovation, without ever sacrificing our rich history. This elegant and well-balanced wine will not only please your senses, but will go well with fish dishes, poultry or cheeses.
