Newton Johnson, Felicité Rosé 2015, Western Cape, South Africa

Tasting Note: A South-African rosé that delivers on flavor in an elegant way that rises above the mass of uninspired rosés on the market.

Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of golden apple, quince, orange zest, white nectarine and strawberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a strawberry-and-nectarine-infused, medium finish.

The wine has a somewhat creamy texture with some chalky notes running along the mid-to-back palate.

This rosé is one to repeat.

Bottle Note: Felicité is made by the winemaking team of Gordon and Nadia Newton Johnson in a style comfortably reflecting the elegance and enjoyment found in all our wines.
