Tasting Note: A perfumed Côtes du Rhône with alluring aromatics that is as much a pleasure to nose as it is to drink.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, bruised raspberry, red currant, blackberry and violet blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Côtes du Rhône has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on nose supported by medium acidity, and ripe, medium tannin.

There is midpalate complexity and balance between the fruit and tannin structure.

This is what Côtes du Rhône should be.

Bottle Note: Philippe Cambie, renowned oenologist, and winemaker Michael Gassier explore the variety of grenache expressions on the unique terroirs of the southern Rhone Valley. Where the Rhone River meets the Mediterranean, Costières de Nîmes’ proximity to the sea confers freshness & elegance. Enjoy this “crowd pleaser” with spicy Mediterranean or Asian fare as well as grilled veggies. 80% grenache & 20% syrah.
