Tasting Note: A classic Bourgueil with concentrated cabernet franc fruit and depth of flavor.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, pencil shavings, forest floor, ground dried raspberry, violet leaf, cedar and with hints of red cherry.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet franc expresses medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, velvety, medium-plus tannin.

The wine has a generous and rich midpalate with complex black-fruit and earthy undertones.

This wine is very good in quality because it expresses varietal typicity and flavor concentration.

A cabernet franc that would be a wonderful introduction to the red wines of the Loire.
